Shape-Preserving Stereo Object Remapping via Object-Consistent Grid Warping

چکیده
Viewing various stereo images under different viewing conditions has escalated the need for effective object-level remapping techniques. In this paper, we propose a new object spatial mapping scheme, which adjusts depth and size of selected to match user preference conditions. Existing warping-based methods often distort shape important objects or cannot faithfully adjust depth/size due improper warping such as local rotations. by explicitly reducing transformation freedom degree warping, an optimization model based on axis-aligned remapping. The proposed can simultaneously depths sizes their target values without introducing severe distortions. Moreover, consistency constraints ensure size/shape parts inside be consistently adjusted. Such improve adjustment performance while remaining robust some extent incomplete extraction. Experimental results demonstrate that method achieves high flexibility effectiveness in adjusting compared with existing methods.

Stereo GrabCut: Interactive and Consistent Object Extraction for Stereo Images
This paper presents an interactive object extraction approach for stereo images. The extraction task on stereo images has two significant differences compared to that on monoscopic images. First, the segmentation for both images should be consistent. Second, stereo images have implicit depth information, which supplies an important cue for object extraction. In this paper, we generate consisten...
متن کاملObject stereo - Joint stereo matching and object segmentation
This paper presents a method for joint stereo matching and object segmentation. In our approach a 3D scene is represented as a collection of visually distinct and spatially coherent objects. Each object is characterized by three different aspects: a color model, a 3D plane that approximates the object’s disparity distribution, and a novel 3D connectivity property. Inspired by Markov Random Fiel...
متن کاملShape-selective stereo processing in human object-related visual areas.
Object related areas in the human ventral stream were previously shown to be activated, in a shape-selective manner, by luminance, motion, and texture cues. We report on the preferential activation of these areas by stereo cues defining shape. To assess the relationship of this activation to object recognition, we employed a perceptual stereo effect, which profoundly affects object recognition....
متن کاملFTRepMI: Fault-Tolerant, Sequentially-Consistent Object Replication for Grid Applications
We introduce FTRepMI, a simple fault-tolerant protocol for providing sequential consistency amongst replicated objects in a grid, without using any centralized components. FTRepMI supports dynamic joins and graceful leaves of processes holding a replica, as well as failstop crashes. Performance evaluation shows that FTRepMI behaves efficiently, both on a single cluster and on a distributed clus...
متن کاملShape-based Object Detection via Boundary Structure
We address the problem of object detection and segmentation using global holistic properties of object shape. Global shape representations are highly susceptible to clutter inevitably present in realistic images, and can be applied robustly only using a precise segmentation of the object. To this end, we propose a figure/ground segmentation method for extraction of image regions that resemble t...
